It wasn’t easy. Picking our favorite coffees from the luscious line-up of Wolfgang Puck Keurig K-cups required some careful consideration. But we did have fun trying. We hope you enjoy these five blends as much as we do. We admit, we favor darker roasts and strong brews, but two flavored coffees make our list for their perfect blend of subtle sweetness without any of the overpowering bitterness that you can find in some coffee house syrup-flavored varieties.
But go ahead, don’t stop at these five. Try all 12 flavors from world-famous chef Wolfgang Puck, and tell us what you think.
Our Top Five
So, drum roll, please…our top five Wolfgang Puck K-cups are:
- Chef’s Reserve Columbian
- French Roast
- Vienna Coffee House
- Vanilla Francaise
- Crème Caramel
Chef`s Reserve Colombian K-Cups
This dark roast is crafted with distinctive coffee beans, then carefully roasted to Wolfgang Puck’s exact standards. His attention to detail shows here, with one of the richest, smoothest coffees you’ll ever taste. No need to mince words here: We love this brew! A classic Columbian brew perfectly blended with hints of chocolate and a smooth finish that you only get from the highest quality beans. This one is sure to be a stand-by, your go-to blend for a morning jump start or anytime pick-me-up.
Wolfgang Puck French Roast K-cups
As far as dark roasts go, this one is among the best. Wolfgang Puck’s blend captures the essence of a rich, dark French roast, without being bitter or overbearing (we’ll refrain from making any snarky comments about the French here)
. Fans have told us this is one of their favorite Wolfgang Puck coffees so far. It is truly as bold and intense as advertised, with a spicy chocolate note to each cup. We’re sure you won’t be able to stop at just one cup!
Wolfgang Puck Vienna Coffee House K-cups
If you close your eyes, absorb the aromas, and take a sip of this bold blend, it won’t be hard to imagine you’re in a Viennese coffee house. This European-style dark roast is exceedingly smooth with toasted nut notes. Its sublime poetic undertones mesh easily with milk, cream or sugar, creating a nearly perfect cup of Joe that just might make you ponder the meaning of life.
Wolfgang Puck Vanilla Francaise K-cups
Ok, so flavored coffees are not usually our top choice…but sometimes you just want a little somethin’ somethin’ so this one makes our list. The subtle flavor of vanilla adds just a touch of sweetness to the extraordinary coffee. Enjoy Wolfgang Puck Vanilla Francaise as a dessert or anytime throughout the day as a special treat. This is one flavor that is great black, but if you really want to get the vanilla notes singing, go for full cream and sugar to make a cup so decadent that cheesecake will wish it were coffee.
Wolfgang Puck Crème Caramel K-cups
Sometimes we really want dessert but know we shouldn’t. Instead we indulge in the sweetness of rich caramel mixed with gourmet vanilla ice cream from this flavored Wolfgang Puck coffee. Delicious! We really don’t think it’s fair for a coffee flavor to be this luscious! We admit, the Wolfgang Puck Crème Caramel is a bit on the sweet side, but what better way to satisfy your dessert craving without racking up the calories, than with a delicious cup of single-cup brewed coffee? To really get the full dessert effect, you might splurge and go for cream and sugar, but even if you take yours black, every cup of this coffee will satisfy your sweet tooth.
What’s your take? Have you tried the Wolfgang Puck K-cups yet? Tell us what you think!
